As we navigate through these ever-changing times, Latitude Group Travel is pleased to provide an update on the exciting new advances taking place within our business, prompted by the COVID-19 situation that has impacted schools and other clients.
In light of recent events in the educational travel industry, first and foremost, we are happy to inform you that not only are we surviving, but we are making great strides toward our new and exciting suite of Australian-based educational tours and programs. We owe a great deal to our exceptional team of educational travel specialists, who have quickly adapted to a new way of working in this unique climate. Like many Australians, our teams have embraced the challenges that we’re all facing and have worked together brilliantly, to provide an even greater level of service and support to our clients.
As of August 2020, we are continuing to manage refunds to our clients which were affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Where possible, we have recouped funds from our suppliers, which have then been refunded back to our clients. We understand that this can be a frustrating process for families, however we are truly going above and beyond to facilitate the maximum possible refund. Your patience and understanding has been, and still is, much appreciated.
Looking forward, we are working closely with our suppliers to implement a viable, flexible refund and postponement policy, which will allow our clients to book with confidence in this uncertain time.
Given the current travel restrictions, Latitude Group Travel has embraced the opportunity to fast-track our pre-planned suite of Australian-based tours. We are proud to announce that many of these tours have been designed and finalised, and can now be viewed on our website.
We have the ability to operate these tours both on an inter- and intra-state basis, depending on the preference of the school or organisation. As with all of our tours, both here in Australia and overseas, they can be custom designed or altered, to reflect the needs or requirements of our clients.
On a final note, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our current clients who have already booked their tours with us for 2021 and beyond. Although there is some uncertainty, we would encourage clients to contact us so that they do not miss out on the opportunity to travel within Australia, in 2021.
